The history of TOFIVELA

Established on January 1st of 1984, TOFIVELA is a familiar company which quickly became one of the most important companies in the production of buckles and applications for the Industry of leather goods and Footwear.

In 1991, the increase of demand in the buckles market, placed the company on its first phase of expansion with the opening of the new plant, situated in Vila Nova de Gaia.

Also this year, the company started to dedicate to the production of iron fitting for furniture and regional articles, which also extended its abilities.

In 2000, the company started its activity with the external market. This new stage in the development of the company allows helps it to deal with new challenges without never relinquishing its main premises. They are and always will be the complete satisfaction of the customer for the distinction of the product, through the quality, innovation, design and functionality. These premises always had been and are faced as the central pillar for a success management of Tofivela.
